Meet the team
Meet the family members who care for the habitat, tend the bees, run operations and help bring in the harvest.
WayneHabitat & assisting beekeeper
Wayne helps care for our family’s land, lends a hand in the apiary as an assisting beekeeper, and works with The Bee and Butterfly Habitat Fund to support biological diversity, establish pollinator habitat and provide a wider range of flowering plants for bees and butterflies.
LeahOperations & assisting beekeeper
Leah helps care for the bees as an assisting beekeeper and handles logistics, packaging, labeling and the processing of wax products—the work that helps bring everything together beyond the hive.
CarsonExtraction support
It takes a team, and Carson helps get the harvest done—supporting extraction and lending a hand where it’s needed.
ConnorPrimary beekeeper
Connor is the primary beekeeper at Lake Country Honey Co. He leads the care of the colonies and works alongside the family through the beekeeping season.
