Meet the team.
Lake Country Honey Co. grew from a shared love of our family farm in Alexandria, Minnesota, the bees, and the simple things that connect us to the land.
From tending the hives to harvesting honey and creating more pollinator habitat, it’s a family effort rooted in a place that means a great deal to us.
From our family farm to your table, with care.
01 / THE HONEY
Local flowers.
Natural character.
The flowers our bees visit shape the honey you taste. Here’s what local and raw mean for your jar.
A taste of where it’s made.
Local flowers give each harvest its own color and flavor. Choosing Minnesota honey supports local beekeeping and agriculture.
Raw honey changes naturally.
Raw means the honey has not been pasteurized. Our honey is also unfiltered. Over time, its natural glucose can form crystals, making it cloudy, grainy or firm. Crystallization alone is not spoilage. Spread it as it is, or gently warm it to make it pour again.

02 / THE LAND
Room to bloom.
20+ acres being converted into bee and butterfly habitat.
Flowers that bloom at different times help give pollinators food across the growing season. Follow the preparation, planting and care behind our habitat project.
