KNOW YOUR COLONY
What is a 5-frame honey bee nuc?
Looking for honey bees for sale in Minnesota? Our offering is a 5-frame nucleus colony, often called a nuc. A nuc is a small established colony with a queen, workers, brood and food stores—a good way to begin your own colonies. Our nucs come on 5 frames, ready to transfer into compatible hive equipment.
